La Doyenne, The oldest classic. As a local, this one has a special taste for me. This is the one who makes me dream ! Col de Stockeu, La Redoute, Roche-aux-Faucons, this is what Liège-Bastogne-Liège is all about. With an altitude gain equal to even the most demanding Tour de France mountain stages, La Doyenne reward only the toughest rider with a well-earned victory.
Of course, we won't forget La Flèche Wallonne with the infamous Mur de Huy ! This wall is like none other. With both men and women going over on the same day, you'll have the occasion to see how the best riders in the world go up there.
We'll stay in the Pearl of the Ardennes, the thermal city of Spa, and also our hometown. Not only famous because of the race track of Spa-Francorchamps, Spa host also the oldest Casino in the world, ferruginous water sources and natural reserves. In the middle of all iconic Liège-Bastogne-Liège climbs, this will be the perfect location to start our daily ride.

1
Altitude Training will meet you at Brussels airport and transfer you and your bike to Spa. Our mechanics will be on hand to help assemble your bike ready for the weekend on arrival at your hotel.
Once everything bike are ready, we will go for a small ride in the Ardenne. Just to get a first taste of the following days.
DAY
2
The first day of riding will be pretty long as we are heading to the Mur de Huy ! This mythic climb made history at all edition of Flèche Wallonne !
Then, we'll be on the side of road, cheering the Pro's at La Flèche Wallonne. A nice opportunity to have a close look at the shortest Ardenne Classic.
Key Climb : Côte d'Ouffet • Côte de Bohisseau • Côte de Cherave • Mur de Huy
The more brave of us will ave the opportunity to ride back to Spa on the bike, which would add around 80 km.

3
Recon day for Liège-Bastogne-Liège. All the iconic climb of La Doyenne won't have any more secret for you.
Key Climb : La Redoute • La Roche aux Faucons • Saint Nicolas

4
Easy day before the race. We'll ride to the top of La Redoute one last time before Saturday. The Pro's has chosen the same day to do also their recon so we will have the opportunity to cross them a few times !
Key Climb : Haftay • Côte de la Redoute
A small detour for a coffee stop is always worth it.

Race Day ! Our favorite classic start early, as some of us will have made the choice to do it the hard parcours of 270 km. It's gonna be a long day !

We'll meet the peloton once they road to Bastogne before we go back to the hotel for a quick shower and a nice lunch and we'll go to different spots to witness the Doyenne.
After a fantastic week, this is with a twinge that we say goodbye. Your bike will be packed up ready for your flight home and our staff will take you back to Brussels airport.
