BEFORE THE EVENT
This event is focus around your own personal performance and how to squeeze the best of yourself by nailing your nutrition.
This doesn’t come easy, and surely not within a week. In collaboration with Neversecond, we’ll host a webinar 30 days before the event.
By this time, you should have received your samples, along with 1 SuperSapiens sensor. This will help you putting into practice what you’ve learned during the webinar. A discount code will also be given to you if you need more.
DAY
1
Our team will welcome you at Marseille airport and drive you to our private location in Bédoin, at the very bottom of the Mont Ventoux.
A welcome drink and meeting will be held with the week program and objectives as main topic.
A SuperSapiens sensors will also be at your disposal to collect as much datas as possible.
DAY
2
A great first day in the heat of Provence. Leaving Bédoin from the North, the road will go up quite quickly, but no severe gradient.
Once passed the Col de la Madeleine, we’ll have in sight the Dentelles de Montmirail before riding down in the middle of the vineyards.
After a small stoop in Vaison-la-Romaine, the Col de Fontaube will be the main difficulty of the day.
A small and almost abandoned road that leads to one of our favourite village in the area, Brantes.
Once back home, our specialist will start looking at the datas recorded by the SuperSapiens sensor and your bike computer to put the finger on what could be improve in your nutrition habits.
Our soigneur will take good care of your legs by providing some needed massage.
Distance : 120km /// Ascension : 2000m
DAY
3
No needs for an introduction. If you haven’t done it yet, al least you’ve heard of him.
The Giant of Provence.
We’ll start the day after breakfast with a 40km warmup before going back to the house for a quick coffee and make sure you’ve the right food and drink to take over the Ventoux.
Selfie at the top, we’ll all ride down together the other side before riding back to the house.
A great dinner will be served tonight after a first big achievement !
Distance : 93km /// Ascension : 2400m
DAY
4
The region of the Lubéron has always has been in the shadow of the Ventoux, but this is one of the most beautiful cycling region of France. Filled of lavender fields, it’s a joy to ride for the nose, legs and eyes.
Gordes is part of the most beautiful (and expensive) village of France, overlooking the whole region of Lubéron.
After Gordes, the Col de la Liguiére will set the border of the Lubéron and be the last difficulty of the day before riding down the Gorges de la Nesque, a good recon for the next day.
A last massage will be well deserved to tackle the last day.
Our mechanic will also take care of your bike and make sure everything is running perfectly.
Distance : 135km /// Ascension : 2200m
DAY
5
This ride is known to be a fast one, and would be the last test of your intake of carbohydrates over a 3h tempo effort.
The Gorges de la Nesque, when ridden fast, is a proper 30 minutes test where your loading will be super important to not fade.
Once that difficulty done, it’s a fast and furious ride where we’ll apply some chain gang to speed up our average !
Don’t go too excited, and make sure to fuel properly !
We’ll celebrate the last ride with a great BBQ at the villa.
Distance : 98km /// Ascension : 1300m
DAY
6
Our mechanic will take care of putting back your bike in its bike case before we drive you back to the airport.
Hopefully, you’ll have learned more about yourself as an athlete, and will keep on improving !
